Lautech student, Abeeb Adekunle Olayiwola arrested for theft.
According to PM News, Abeeb Adekunle Olayiwola, a student of Crop Production and Soil
Science was caught by another student with alleged unlawful possession of 23 phones and other properties belonging to other students.
He was, however, handed over to the security unit for appropriate
investigations as university security officers alongside some Students
Union Government, SUG, representatives later recovered twenty other
phones from Olayiwola’s room in the hostel.
When the suspect discovered that the phones had been found in his
room, he confessed to have committed the said crime and claimed to have
sold about three of them already.
Items recovered from him includes 23 phones, six batteries, six SIM
cards, five memory cards, two Hand-frees, one hand bag and one HP
Pavilion Laptop.

EFCC arraigns undergraduate of University of Benin for $12,000 internet scam.
KKenneth Rukewe Ebule was arraigned by EFCC for defrauding a German named Sabine Albert of $12,000.
Rukewe is a final year student of University of Benin. He posed as an English business man on transit in Nigeria who has a contract worth $1,200,000:00 and that he needed funds to facilitate the contract amongst other false claims.
It was also discovered that he has defrauded other Germans to the tune of $110,975:00!
He was granted bail in the sum of =N=1,000,000:00with two sureties in like sum and the case was adjourned to November 21 2014.
